im rahmen der ausstellung ist matysik mit seinem performativen beitrag über die produktion neuer hauptgruppen zu sehen. zum teil vor publikum fertigt er großformatige zeichnungen an, die er diesem im anschluss zum halten in die hand gibt. allein der performance-titel verweist schon auf eine in diesem kontext eher ironisch gefärbte selbstreferenzielle haltung matysiks. in diesem sinne lässt sich auch die beteiligung des publikums, dem lediglich die funktion eines kartenständers zukommt, als augenzwinkernder kommentar zur künstlerischen praxis der partizipation lesen, die hier ad absurdum geführt wird.
as part of the exhibition matysik can be seen with his performance on the production of new main groups. he completes large format drawings – in part before the live audience – which he subsequently gives them to hold. the title of the performance already refers to matysik’s in this context rather ironic self-referential attitude. in this sense the participation of the audience, which basically functions as a set of card holders, can be seen as a winking commentary on participatory artistic practice, taken to the point of absurdity.
