die ausstellung findet parallel zu einer nachwuchstagung gleichen titels statt. im rahmen der interdisziplinären auseinandersetzung mit dem sujet realer, fiktiver sowie künstlicher inseln sollen aspekte des insularen ästhetisch erfahrbar gemacht werden. matysik entwickelt eine installation, die mit ihrem von ventilatoren bewegten folienmeer an die insel lummerland der augsburger puppenkiste denken lässt.
the exhibition takes place parallel to the next-generation conference of the same name. as part of an interdisciplinary discussion of real, fictional and artificial islands, aspects of the insular are to be experienced aesthetically. matysik develops an installation that is reminiscent of the augsburger puppenkiste theater’s lummerland island, with a sea of foil – set in motion by fans – that washes up against island models installed on trolleys.
