maty­sik erschafft vor ort molus­ku­lä­re orga­nis­men, die aus ihrer basis dis­pen­sie­ren und in die welt aus­sie­deln. mit ihrer prä­sen­ta­ti­on wer­den eben­so künst­ler- und schöp­fungs­my­then wie auch die poli­ti­sche dimen­si­on unge­hemm­ter gestal­tungs­phan­ta­sien the­ma­ti­siert. der aus­stel­len­de kunst­raum selbst meint dazu: »es wäre ver­häng­nis­voll, wenn maty­sik das, was er tut, nicht in der kunst täte.«

maty­sik crea­tes mol­lus­cu­lar crea­tures on site which eman­ci­pa­te them­sel­ves from their parent orga­nism and migra­te into the world. their pre­sen­ta­ti­on explo­res artis­tic and crea­ti­on myths as well as the poli­ti­cal dimen­si­ons of unin­hi­bi­ted design fan­ta­sies. the exhi­bi­ti­on space its­elf says, »it would be dis­as­trous if maty­sik were to do what he is doing out­side of the art world.«
